Virtual sessions across Georgia.
Mamaya is licensed to provide therapy across Georgia and five other states (TN, TX, AR, FL, AL, GA). For most Savannah clients, virtual sessions are the default — same care, same specialty-trained clinicians, no commute.
We don’t have a Mamaya office in Savannah (yet), but virtual care across Georgia is the default for most of our clients regardless of city. Sessions are HIPAA-compliant, secure, and clinically equivalent to in-person — most insurance plans cover them at the same rate.
We accept most major commercial insurance (BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, Optum / UnitedHealthcare) so most GA members pay $0 out of pocket. We verify your benefits before your first session.
Specialty work, not generalist talk therapy.

Common questions from Savannah.
Is virtual therapy legal in Georgia?+
Yes. Mamaya's clinicians are licensed in Georgia and provide telehealth under standard GA mental-health practice law. Sessions are HIPAA-compliant. Most major insurance plans cover virtual visits at the same rate as in-person.
Can I see a Mamaya provider in person from Savannah?+
We don't currently have a Mamaya office in Savannah, but we're virtual-first across Georgia and most clients prefer the convenience. If in-person is essential, our nearest office is in Tennessee.
Do you take my insurance?+
In-network with BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, Optum / UnitedHealthcare, and most major commercial plans. We verify your benefits before your first session and tell you exactly what to expect — no surprises. Self-pay is also available.
How fast can I be seen?+
Same-week availability is the norm — most Savannah clients schedule their first session within 5 business days. Acute presentations are prioritized.
What conditions do you specialize in?+
Perinatal mood disorders, postpartum depression and anxiety, fertility-related distress, pregnancy loss, perimenopause and menopause mood symptoms, birth trauma, anxiety, depression, and the identity work of motherhood. We're not a generalist EAP — every clinician has specialty training in women's life-stage mental health.
