After three pregnancy losses and secondary infertility, I saw firsthand how many women carry reproductive grief in isolation — and how little space exists in our healthcare system to process it. Talking with friends and family, I realized this wasn’t rare. It was the story we don’t tell.
My clinical work started there. In 2019 I founded Nashville Collaborative Counseling Center to build inclusive, accessible maternal mental health care. By 2023 we’d served around 3,000 clients across nearly 60,000 sessions with a team of 65 employees and 17 interns. The practice taught me the truth that sits under everything we do at Mamaya: context isn’t a side note. Context is the clinical picture.
Mamaya Health is the next chapter. A platform, not just a practice. One team of specialized clinicians, matched to every woman’s specific season — from menstruation through menopause. Breaking down the barriers that still exist for women to access the life-sustaining care they deserve.
