About
Hi, I’m Jennifer Johnson, a counselor-in-training at Northwestern University with a heart for helping people feel truly seen and accepted. My approach is rooted in curiosity, compassion, and deep respect for your lived experience. Whether you’re navigating identity exploration, life transitions, or simply trying to make sense of your emotions, I offer a warm, affirming space where you can come as you are. I bring experience working with individuals across the lifespan in educational, behavioral, and community-based settings. I’m especially passionate about supporting neurodivergent clients, exploring relational wellness, and helping people better understand and embrace who they are. In our sessions, you can expect collaboration, safety, and a space where all parts of you are welcome. Therapy with me is about connection—not perfection. We’ll focus on building self-understanding, strengthening your voice, and developing tools to help you navigate life with greater confidence and authenticity. I’m here to walk alongside you, offering gentle support and encouragement as you move through both challenges and discoveries. I believe every person deserves a place where they can show up fully—without masks or pressure. If you’re ready to begin a journey of healing, reflection, and self-growth, I’d be honored to support you. Let’s begin this work together—reach out today to schedule your first session.
