About

Hi, I’m Khaliyah—a therapist born and raised in Clarksdale, Mississippi, with a deep commitment to uplifting my community and helping individuals thrive. My journey in mental health began at Mississippi State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and African American Studies. I continued on to earn a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Delta State University, driven by a strong passion for supporting others in meaningful ways. I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from age five to 65, and I bring a person-centered approach to every session. That means your story, comfort, and personal goals are always at the heart of our work together. I strive to create a safe, welcoming environment where you can explore life’s challenges, build confidence, and make meaningful progress—at your own pace. Whether you're navigating stress, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, or simply seeking support, I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion and encouragement. I believe in your ability to grow, heal, and become the best version of yourself—and I’m honored to support that journey. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy playing sports, writing, and spending time with my loved ones—activities that keep me grounded and energized. These moments help me bring presence, balance, and warmth into my work with clients. If you’re ready to feel supported and empowered in your path forward, I’d love to connect. Reach out today to get started.
