About

I’m Caitlin, a Licensed Master Social Worker and former educator based in Nashville, TN. As a therapist, teacher, and mother of three, I bring a compassionate, real-world understanding to the therapeutic space. I know how deeply our early experiences shape us—and I’m here to support you in reconnecting with your inner wisdom, healing from past wounds, and finding grounded confidence in who you are. I use a holistic, person-centered approach rooted in trauma-informed care. You are the expert on your life, and I’m here to walk alongside you with curiosity, warmth, and respect. My work draws from attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, and polyvagal theory, integrating both “top-down” and “bottom-up” strategies—whether that’s exploring thought patterns through mindfulness or tuning into the body’s wisdom through nervous system regulation. I hold a Master of Science in Social Work with a certificate in Trauma Treatment, a Master of Arts in Special Education, and a Bachelor’s in Philosophy and Religion. My background includes 10 years working with children and families in schools, as well as training in CBT, EMDR, play therapy, sand tray therapy, and Circle of Security Parenting. I also bring a global perspective, having studied Buddhist psychology and meditation in India. Outside of therapy, I love baking, watercolor painting, and spending time with my kids. Creativity and connection ground me—and I’d love to help you discover what grounds and heals you, too. If you're looking for an empathetic guide on your journey toward growth and healing, I’m here when you’re ready.
