About

Hi there! My name is Kelsey! I’m a master’s level board-certified music therapist (since 2018) and licensed professional counselor (since 2023). I’m also a Guided Imagery in Music advanced trainee. I’ve spent much of my clinical career assisting with a wide variety of clinical concerns and I’m always willing to learn from clients and their experiences. I’ve assisted clients in various settings, including residential and foster care treatment, inpatient mental health, IOP/PHP programs, and outpatient therapy for children, adolescents, and adults—particularly those healing from trauma. As both a counselor and music therapist, I integrate tools from various approaches such as CBT, person-centered, existential, Jungian and expressive arts approaches. This allows us to explore healing through both traditional talk therapy and creative expressions like music, imagery, poetry, art, and even dream work. I tailor each session to meet your needs, helping you connect more deeply with your emotions and life experiences. I understand that healing sometimes requires different approaches, allowing your words to reach into our most hidden landscapes, giving ourselves time to change and a chance to be. If you are ready for a new approach to therapy, I’d love to work with you!
