Seasonal Wellness: Support For the Season Ahead

You don't have to carry the cold season alone.

Fall and winter can bring real changes in mood, energy, routines, relationships, and stress. This 9-week therapy group offers structured space to understand your own seasonal patterns, connect with others who get it, and build realistic strategies for the months ahead. Led by clinical interns with a licensed provider available for support — and because it's a closed cohort, members begin and move through all nine weeks together.

What makes this group unique

Clinically supervised

Led by clinical interns with a licensed provider available for support. A structured, therapy-informed space that goes beyond peer conversation.

A closed cohort

Members start and finish together — no one joins mid-stream. That continuity creates the trust and depth that make group work meaningful.

Built for this season

Structured specifically around fall and winter — shorter days, shifting routines, holiday pressure, seasonal mood changes — not a generic wellness group.

What to expect in each session

A brief check-in

Share where you are this week — or just listen. Every voice and every silence is welcome.

Guided discussion

Seasonal mood and energy, low-motivation routines, connection, holiday stress, family boundaries, and building your own winter wellness plan.

A practical skill or activity

Each session ends with something concrete to carry into the week — a grounding practice, a coping strategy, a small realistic action.

Your own pace

You're always welcome to participate at whatever level feels right and pass on any question or exercise. Listening counts.

Who should join

For anyone who notices the fall and winter shift — in mood, energy, motivation, or stress — and wants a structured, supportive space to move through it with others. Ask your Mamaya Health provider or email laurie@mamayahealth.com to sign up.

Hi, I’m Laurie- a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Perinatal Mental Health Certified provider passionate about supporting women through all stages of motherhood. Whether you’re navigating perinatal anxiety, depression, loss, identity shifts, or the complex emotions of parenting, I offer a compassionate, grounded space to process, reflect, and heal. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with individuals of all ages and in various treatment settings, but my heart lies in maternal mental health. I’m a mom, stepmom, and dog mom—and I’ve personally faced many of the same challenges my clients bring to therapy, including perinatal depression, stillbirth, and redefining my role as a step-parent. I bring not just clinical expertise but real-life understanding and empathy to our work together. I believe that you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to support your story with honesty, transparency, and deep respect. I strive to build a therapeutic relationship where you feel safe, heard, and genuinely connected. My approach draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), with elements of Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) integrated where useful. Outside of my professional role, I love spending time in the sunshine - especially walking or taking my son to parks and play gyms. I also enjoy getting lost in psychological thrillers and relaxing with a good game show. If you’re ready to begin or continue your healing journey, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
