About
I’m Casey Kobosh, LCSW—a trauma-informed therapist passionate about helping individuals and families heal, connect, and thrive. I specialize in working with those impacted by trauma, guiding clients through challenges related to parenting, relationships, and emotional regulation. I believe that lasting change comes through deep reflection and understanding of how our experiences have shaped us. Initially, I use mindfulness-based strategies to help you find calm, clarity, and control. Over time, we’ll work together to build self-compassion and insight into how your past has shaped your present—and how you want to grow moving forward. My approach is insight-oriented, collaborative, and always centered around your needs and strengths. I’m trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Level 1 Gottman Couples Therapy, and am a Registered Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator. I also integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other attachment-based tools to tailor our work to your unique story and goals. I earned my Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Central Arkansas. In every session, I strive to create a warm, affirming space where you feel safe to explore, reflect, and heal. When I’m not in session, you’ll likely find me baking, walking my dog, or enjoying time with loved ones. If you’re ready to reconnect with yourself and your path, I’d be honored to work with you.
